What you need:
1x 250g block of cream cheese at room temperature
8-10 Cups of Icing Sugar
doTERRA Peppermint Oil approximately 6 drops
A block of dark chocolate
What to do:
Put the cream cheese in a bowl
Add icing sugar cup by cup mixing it together as you go, until it becomes a doughy consistency. I start with a wooden spoon and as it becomes less sticky I get my hands in there to mush it like play dough.
One it has the consistency of play dough, add doTERRA peppermint oil to taste and mix that through.
Roll into balls about the size of a 20c piece, flatten gently with a fork (helps to dip the fork in icing sugar to avoid sticking)
Put them in the refrigerator until they are firm
Melt the chocolate gently on the stove top on a low heat.
Take the refrigerated mint balls from the fridge
Dip in melted dark chocolate then refrigerate again.
Try not to eat them all at once!
You can do this same recipe with the doTERRA Wild Orange Oil and it tastes sooooooo God damn good!
Peppermint Oil is known as the ‘Oil of the Buoyant Heart’.
Peppermint brings joy and buoyancy to the heart and soul. It invigorates the body, mind and spirit. It reminds individuals that life can be happy and there is nothing to fear. It assists individuals to stay on the surface of their emotional issues allowing them a period of reprieve, until they find the strength needed to face their emotional reality. When it is accepted and embraced, emotional pain will serve as a teacher.
When the individual is disheartened they may use Peppermint to re-discover the joy of being alive. For this reason, the power of Peppermint oil can be felt the most during times of discouragement or depression.
So make some for a friend, take them around and enjoy a cuppa and a chat… you never know how much someone may just need an opportunity to talk about shit.
